Living With A Dog Living with a dog is a strange experience. People say that dogs look like their owners or vice versa, not sure about that. I may no longer be pretty but I am not covered in brown and white hair, neither do I have a wet nose of a visible tail. However, I have noticed that my dog does have characteristic similar to my husband. He is perfectly happy to have me write during the day, providing he gets a walk and a few treats,but when I write into the early hours he loses patience. For one thing while I am writing I am not eating which means no tidbits for him. He lies on the carpet(read sofa for husband) and every so often heavy sighs waft up to me - if I take my eyes off what I'm doing and look at him the sigh is followed by a beseeching look and a loud hurrumph when I go back to my work. Whatever I say about living with a dog I would not want to be without him.
